Global Emergency Response Fund progress report

Following the successful completion of dismantling 50 earthquake-damaged houses, we have now moved into Phase 2: rebuilding five permanent homes for the most vulnerable families in the region.

  • House 1 has been fully completed, and the family has joyfully moved into their new, secure home.
  • House 2 is in the final stages of construction, with finishing work currently underway.
  • House 3 is progressing steadily, with its structure and framework already in place.
  • House 4 is ready to begin construction as soon as the weather permits.
  • House 5 remains on standby until more progress is made on the ongoing builds.

Heavy rainfall and rising water levels have presented significant challenges, causing delays and restricting access to certain areas. Transporting materials by boat has also proven difficult, though our volunteers are taking necessary safety precautions to continue the work effectively.

We are deeply grateful to every donor and partner who has supported this project. Your generous giving and faithful prayers are making a lasting impact in the lives of families who have lost so much.

May the Lord bless each of you abundantly for your kindness. We pray that God continues to pour out His favour upon you, provide for all your needs, and reward your love with eternal fruit in His Kingdom.

We kindly ask for your continued prayers for:

  • Favourable weather conditions
  • Strength, safety, and encouragement for our volunteers
  • Provision of necessary resources
  • Open and receptive hearts among the families we serve

May every home built reflect the love, hope, and presence of Christ. Thank you for standing with us in this mission.
